www.lonewolfproductions.caWhen I got the news that Adidas Eye Wear was coming on board as a sponsor for 2011 the first thing I thought was "This is great! I might get to shoot with Geoff Gulevich". After a few phone calls my thought became a reality and we were booked to shoot over May long weekend. I had worked with Gully in the past while riding for various photo and film shoots, but never with him in front of my lens. This proved to be a totally different experience altogether.
I arrived at Geoff's home in North Vancouver on a Thursday evening where we planned out the rest of the weekend. Gully decided on the following:
Day 1. Shoot in Squamish
Day 2. Par take in the Troller to the Raven (annual pub crawl)
Day 3. Shoot on Cypress Mountain, and hit the local Dirt Jumps.
Even though the weather was supposed to be clear and sunny, the usual Vancouver rain rolled in over night and almost squashed our first day. We ended up heading to Squamish late, but after bagging up the camera, and hiking the trails the rain slowed and we were ready to shoot. We got some really nice shots in the foggy forest, and Gully was calling angles to shoot from that turned out great.
Day 2 was the Troller to the Raven pub crawl. This was a 40km cruise on our bikes with 30 people all the way through North Vancouver. Needless to say we took over the streets for one afternoon and we were unstoppable. If the day read as a newspaper headline it would say "3 Hospital Trips, 1 Person Grazed by Van, and 2 Malls used as Bikes Lanes During Local Pub Crawl". If you want to get a little taste of the annual pub crawl head over to

After a bit of time in the morning to recoup we made our way to Cypress Mountain to shoot Gully's favorite DH trail. Geoff and his friends had been holding locals only races down this trail so he was shredding.
www.lonewolfproductions.ca has a full top to bottom video of Geoff riding the DH course if you would like to check that out as well. After walking the trail top to bottom and getting all the shots Gully wanted we moved over to his dirt jumps where he showed us that he is not only a freeride guy but can also shred on a little bike as well. After a quick session Gully had already gotten the shots he wanted and we wrapped up. From there we parted ways, as Geoff was getting ready to head to France for the FISE competition.
I would like to thank Geoff and Adidas Eyewear for fitting Lone Wolf Productions into their busy schedules and for bringing all of you this awesome video! Don't forget to follow our twitter @lonewolfteam, and our
