Name, age, and location? Dustin Greenall, age 21 from Kelowna BC
How long have you been riding for? Since as long as I can remember.
You previously lived in Kimberly (South Eastern BC) and moved to Kelowna. Describe the riding scene in your new home town for us. The riding back home is fun. Not nearly as many of us, but it was nice because you can have a set of jumps for just you and your buddies and they never really get trashed. But it's almost like any other town, you have your downhill crew which has boomed in the last few years and then you have the young dirt jump guys who just like being in the air doing flips and stuff.
While we were shooting your section I stayed with you at your house where you live with several roommates. It seems like you are all very good friends, how do you like living there? We're pretty much like a family. We are all really close and four out of five of us are from the Kootenays. We have good parties pretty much all the time and are always doing random things together.
Most people likely know you as a dirt jump guy, but you have been making a transition over to freeride and downhill. Explain why?Not really making a switch, but I like to ride everything and this season I have really started to push myself on the DH part of things. With dirt jumping in Kelowna it doesn’t matter what trick you can do some random grom will go learn it on the step up or foam pit. With DH you are just out riding with your bros and nobody cares, you're just out to have fun.
Where do you ride the most? Probably at Silverstar on the DH bike and my buddy Aeron's on the dirt jumper.
Who do you ride with the most?Either my buddies Wes Booth, Aeron Learmonth, or my roommate Matt Gretzinger.
This video is a Manitou/Hayes/Sun Ringle section, so what would you say is your favorite part of theirs that you use? The forks have changed 100% and I have always been hard on forks, yet I haven’t broken one to this day. My favorite would have to be the new Hayes Prime brake. The adjustment is amazing and I have never beaten on a brake so hard and still had it feel so good.
Favorite Drink? Booster juice!
If I turned on your truck right now what would be playing on your stereo?#1 Avenged sevenfold-So far away
#2 Metallica-Whiskey in the jar
#3 Alex Metric-End of the world
If you only had 6 months left to live, what would you do? Sky dive, bungee jump, enter a monster truck comp and flip a moto.
On a more positive note, if you won 20 million dollars in the lottery what would you do with it? #1 Big house with a lot of land and good dirt
#2 Big diesel truck
#3 Excavator
#4 Go to Mexico to plan out how I want to build the jumps in my yard
#5 Invest a lot
What goes on a perfect sandwich?Cheese bread, cold cut, triple cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard.
I’m clearly out of riding related questions…ha ha! Is there anything else you would like to add? Thank you sponsors -
